'˜Vote Leave' campaign takes to the skies
UK plane manufacturers Britten-Norman will be flying their ‘Vote Leave, Take Control’ banner above the resort today in support of Brexit.
The turboprop Islander aircraft is touring the whole of the country this month on behalf of former household names of the UK aircraft industry that have closed down in recent years.

“Our success over the decades has come from selling a product that customers around the world need.
“The largest single threat to our business comes from EU directives and the other regulations imposed by its various institutions – these burdens are already forcing us to migrate part of our supply chain and some of our jobs outside the EU and we predict that this is a trend that is likely to continue should Britain choose to remain within the EU.”
