Voice of the airwaves marks 25 years
Colleagues of Radio Wave's top news man surprised him with a huge chocolate cake to mark his 25 years behind the microphone.
Andy Mitchell, 53, joined Radio Wave a quarter of a century ago. He started his career at Radio Lancashire in 1981.
He is now Head of News and is also a Gazette columnist.
The station’s own 25th birthday celebrations will be held in May this year.
