VIP play day for Fylde coast children with autism
OJ’s Care, which holds play sessions and holiday clubs for children with autistic spectrum disorders, is to hold a free event for families and children on the Fylde coast.
The charity has secured a private access event at Thingamajigz, on Furness Drive, Poulton Business Park, with support from Variety the Children’s Charity and funding from Radio Wave.

OJ’s Care founder Lisa Donoghue said: “This event will give children with autism a positive play and socialising experience, in a very understanding environment.
“Many of our children struggle to cope in busy public places during popular times, and some families would just not go due to the challenges their child may face.”
Experienced OJ’s workers will staff the areas to provide additional support.
