Village celebrates '˜amazing' gala
Hambleton Gala, held on Bob Williamson Park on Saturday, has been hailed a big success.
The procession began at midday and the theme for the route was “Wellies and Watering Cans”.
There were prizes for the most decorated house.

Hide AdOther attractions on the day included stalls, fancy dress, fairground rides, a bake off, a football tournament, tug of war and raffle.
After the event, the gala’s Facebook page declared: “An amazing gala had by all!
“A huge thankyou to everyone who has made today such a great day. It really has been fantastic, including the weather.
“Special thanks to the stall holders, the entertainment and most of all anyone who came to support the gala.
“It really does take a whole village.”
