VIDEO: St Annes Kite Festival
The airborne creatures were all part of stunning displays at the St Annes Kite Festival.
Hundreds of people went along to spectate and were treated to kites ‘dancing’ to music and stunt kites whizzing through the air.

Hide AdAmong those taking part were Andrew and Kathleen Beatie from North Ayrshire in Scotland.
They had brought along six giant kites including a dragon, teddy bear, tiger, dog, fish and mantaray.
Andrew said: “St Annes is a fabulous place for the festival because of the space, the wind and the great crowds who come along.
“Saturday was perfect because in this wind you can fly anything.”

Hide AdKathleen, who is originally from St Annes, added: “There has been a lot of interest in our kites.
“The dragon is one of only seven in the world.
“It was made in Germany and cost about 5,000 Euros.”
