VIDEO: It’s Bibas fever for Fylde firms


The Be Inspired Business Awards – BIBAs – recognised the cream of Lancashire’s business community on Friday.
The event was a complete sell-out with a long waiting list for tickets and the organisers even had the balcony areas in the Tower Ballroom re-floored to accommodate the guests.

Hide AdTV presenter Eamonn Holmes and former X Factor star Matt Cardle were the surprise stars at the event as more than 900 people packed into the venue for the North and Western Chamber of Commerce annual event, described as “the one they all want to win”.


A total of 18 awards were handed out to businesses judged to be the best in their field after a rigorous judging process.
Daniel Cuffe and Peter Taylor, the team behind Lytham Proms, won the entrepreneur of the year prize.
Healthpoint in Blackpool walked off with the small business of the year award while excellence in customer service went to UPL Ltd in Greenhalgh.

Hide AdManufacturer of the year went to Laila’s Fine Foods Ltd in Bispham and employer of the year was given to F Parkinson Ltd, based in Blackpool.
Finally, the inspiring award was presented to Inspired Energy Ltd, Kirkham.
