The dad-of-two flew to Turkey hours later, where he died suddenly the following day.
After a post mortem examination revealed his death was caused by ‘blunt force trauma’, a murder inquiry was launched and the three men, all from Blackpool, were taken in for questioning by police.
In a statement issued at the time of his death, Mr Marx’s family said: “He was a much loved father, son, uncle and brother and he will be sorely missed by us all.”
