Travellers park near Blackpool beauty spot

Police were called last night to reports that a number of caravans had been parked on a road at the junction of East Park Drive and West Park Drive, near Stanley Park.

One witness said he saw around a dozen caravans being parked, along with several transit-style vans.

A police spokesman said: “We have been made aware of the situation and the Council have been notified.”
