Woman taken to hospital after three-car crash on Blackpool Prom

A woman has been taken to hospital after a crash on Blackpool Prom this morning (Monday, March 1).

Police and ambulance crews attended after a crash involving three cars outside Sea Life on the Promenade shorty after 9am.

A woman has suffered head and arm injuries and has been taken by ambulance to Blackpool Vic for treatment.

A police spokesman said: "We were called to a three-vehicle road traffic collision at 9.05am. A woman in one of the vehicles has suffered minor injuries."

No-one has been arrested following the crash.

The ambulance service added: "We received call at 9.10am. We attended and have taken a woman to hospital with head and arm injuries."
