Three fire engines from St Annes and South Shore attended a road traffic collision in St Albans Road at around 11.15am on Thursday (May 5).
One casualty was extricated by fire service personnel before being conveyed to hospital for treatment.
“We took a man in his 80s to hospital with non-serious injuries,” a spokesman for North West Ambulance Service said.
Fire crews were in attendance for 30 minutes.
