Lancashire’s roads are hopefully a little safer this week, after a host of offences were spotted by police.

Officers have dealt with excessive speeders, drug-drivers, cloned cars and people with no licence or insurance.

One driver was clocked driving at more the speed limit on a 30mph road.

The driver of this BMW was stopped in Blackpool while using his partners vehicle. Unfortunately he wasn’t insured and already has 12 points on his licence.

This Range Rover - stolen from West Midlands - was found in Blackpool on cloned plates. It had been discovered by an innocent purchaser. The vehicle was recovered by police and enquiries are ongoing.

Both of these vehicles were observed by police driving in an antisocial manner and in excess of the speed limit through Adlington. Both drivers were issued with Setion 59 warnings. The Fiesta was seized for the second time in as many months.

The front seat passenger was also reported for permitting no licence or insurance. The Mercedes driver has a provisional licence, but was not displaying L plates and was unsupervised.
