Blackpool Victoria Hospital car park to close over weekend to allow for 'Emergency Village' construction work
The gastroenterology car park at Blackpool Victoria Hospital will be closed this weekend to allow for construction work for the planned ‘Emergency Village’ project.

The car park will be closed tomorrow and Sunday to patients, staff and visitors due to work being carried out by resort-based Atlas BFW Ltd for the £13m project designed to ease pressure on the hospital’s A&E department.
This will also affect the Woodlands entrance.
A spokesman for the Vic said: “The area will be coned off from Saturday morning. This is to accommodate the delivery and construction of the temporary cabins, located in the rear of Gastro car park, by Atlas’ contractors, Wernick.”
The car park will reopen as usual on Monday, September 14.
