A proposal to build a training academy with shared hotel facilities and a spa plus other changes at the Villa Hotel in Wrea Green is among the latest planning applications submitted to Fylde Council.

Proposal: Alteration and extension of existing hotel site, including 1) erection of to-storey building to eastern side of hotel to provide a training/education academy and shared hotel facilities (including en-suite bedrooms and spa); 2) Erection of glazed link between existing hotel and new building; 3) introduction of hard and soft landscaping to replace existing car parking area to front of existing hotel; 4) formation of new car parking area to side and rear; 5)formation of pond and other landscaping works.
