UPDATE: Arrest after woman is hurt in crash
A 23-year-old woman was taken to Blackpool Victoria Hospital after colliding with a grey BMW 520i car, in central Blackpool, at around 9.47am today.
She suffered minor injuries in the crash, which happened at the junction of Central Drive and Princess Street. Her mother is understood to have gone with her to hospital.
Buses were diverted, with the five, seven, 14, and 17 services all affected, while the car was recovered and accident investigation work carried out.
* A 45-year-old man from Blackpool was arrested on suspicion of drink driving and is currently in police custody.
