It was announced earlier this week that Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds will stage a special one-off concert on Lytham Green as part of the week-long Lytham Festival, from August 1 to 7.

The Lytham Festival gig marks the first time multi-award winning singer and songwriter Noel has played live on the Fylde coast since October 1995, when his former band Oasis performed a now-legendary show at Blackpool’s Empress Ballroom on the very day the landmark album (What’s The Story) Morning Glory was released.
Festival organisers Cuffe and Taylor say they have been overwhelmed with the positive response.
Director Peter Taylor said: “Noel is an absolute music legend and we are thrilled that we are able to bring this legend to Lytham this summer. This is going to be a fantastic night and I would urge everyone who wants to be there to be ready at 9am tomorrow as the excitement is incredible.”
Tickets for Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds are priced from £45 with 12,000 on sale.
