Defence lawyer, Kathryn Jamieson-Sinclair, said her client had indicated he would plead not guilty to the offence.

The teenager was bailed to appear at Preston Crown Court on January 13 by District Judge Jeff Brailsford sitting at Blackpool Magistrates’ Court.

The defendant must live at his given address, keep an overnight curfew and not contact prosecution witnesses or have unsupervised contact with any child under 16 as conditions of his bail.
