Prosecutor, Pam Smith, said police were called to a takeaway on Dickson Road on February 12 at 6.30am.

Harnett, who had no shoes on, had been in the takeaway for an hour and refused to leave. Hugh Pond, defending, said Harnett had been drinking vodka when she went to visit an old school friend.

The friend became concerned about Harnett’s condition and called an ambulance.

When Harnett left hospital she found her shoes and phone were missing.

She wanted to ask her friend if she had got them and went to the takeaway she thought the friend worked at.
