The River Wyre Pub was forced to close its doors yesterday for a short period due to a mainline power issue affecting the power supply to the kitchen and other areas.
Posting on their social media feed yesterday, a spokesperson for the business said: “We have currently had to close due to a mainline power issue affecting the power supply to the kitchen and other areas of the business.
“The electric board think we should have power back for 3.30pm so we are looking to open for then.
“We will keep you updated. Sorry for any inconvenience caused and we hope to see you this afternoon.”
Providing a fresh and happier update later that day, a spokesperson added that they were now fully operational following the techincal issues in the morning.
