Son left stolen pies on mum’s car bonnet

A son who was banned from contacting his mother repeatedly went round to her home and shouted and swore at her.

Hassan Lakhfifif even left a box of pies he had stolen on his mother’s car windscreen.

Lakhfifi, 20, formerly of Collyhurst Avenue, South Shore, now of no fixed address, admitted harassing his mum, theft, breaching a court order and failing to answer bail.

He was sentenced to 18 weeks youth custody suspended for 12 months and ordered to pay a £180 court charge with £100 costs plus £60 victims surcharge by District Judge Jeff Brailsford at Blackpool Magistrates’ Court.

Lakhfifi was also made the subject of a 12 months restraining order banning him from contacting his mother. Stephen Duffy, defending, said Lakhfifi suffered from psychiatric problems.
