Singing waiters were huge hit

They tied the knot surrounded by their family and friends and continued the celebrations at the hall with a wedding breakfast.

It was eight years ago when Mark, a mobile IT engineer and Michelle, a cabin crew member for Thomas Cook, first got together.

Michelle said: “We met through mutual friends and Mark pestered me for a good three months before I agreed to go out.

“When we first got together Mark was in the army and did a tour of Afghan which was really hard.

“When our daughter, Elena, was almost one Mark took redundancy from the army as it was getting harder to be away midweek as he was based down south.

“The night Mark proposed, he took me to my favourite restaurant Sapori, but he was so nervous the whole night so I guessed what he was up to!”

On the day itself, they surprised guests with singing waiters ‘Sing while you’re Waiting’ during the wedding breakfast.

Michelle said: “Simon and Charlie were amazing and were the highlight of the day for alot of guests.

“We also had a roulette table during the evening from Casino Casino Casino. That was also a big hit!

“Natalie was our wedding co-ordinator at Ribby and she was amazing, nothing was too much trouble.

“Claire was our photographer from the Fromm Shoppe and we are absolutely in love with our pics of the day, Claire was just amazing!”

Mark said: “I wouldn’t change a thing from the day, it was perfect and I’m so happy and proud to call michelle my wife.

Michelle added: “Our wedding day was just perfect, it felt so right marrying my best friend!”

They will honeymoon in Florida.
