Search after clothing found on shoreline in Fleetwood
A search for a missing person search was sparked after items of clothing were found on Fleetwood beach, says the Coastguard.
Search and rescue teams together with both lifeboats from Fleetwood and the police launched a search at around 5.30am on Wednesday, after women's clothing was found on the shoreline near to the Marine Hall.
The police helicopter joined the search at around 6am.
A police spokesman said that the woman was found a short time later near to a local chip shop.
She is not believed to have suffered any injuries as a result of the incident.
