Roof caved in and windows blown out as structural engineers and search dogs probe fire
The roof of former Ex Catalogue store and M&S in Lord Street, Fleetwood has caved in today.
Structural engineers from Wyre Council are out searching the premises with Lancashire Fire and Rescue search dogs.
An eyewitness at the scene, said: "All roads around the site remain closed, and there are around four or five fire appliances still in attendance.
“The fire appears to be out, with crews largely standing by rather than actively firefighting. The roof has been completely destroyed, although the front façade remains intact.

“All of the windows have blown out, and you can see through the building where the roof has collapsed. Search dogs are also at the scene, and there doesn't appear to be any urgent firefighting activity taking place at the moment."
Two teenagers have been arrested on suspicion of arson following the fire which ravaged the former M&S store in Fleetwood on Wednesday night.
