Road closed due to van fire
Daggers Hall Lane in Blackpool was closed tonight after a van fire spread neighbouring properties.
Firefighters were called at around 5.30pm and found the vehicle well alight, with flames having spread to a garage and fascias of a house.
A spokesman for Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service said: “There was a substantial amount of smoke in the area and the road had to be closed while we dealt with the situation.
“The van had been parked for some time and we’re investigating with the police whether the cause was deliberate.”
Nobody was injured.
