Firefighters were called the property in St Andrew’s Road South, St Anne’s, at 7.45pm.
They discovered the fire had started in the boiler, and although flames had not spread, the kitchen was heavily smoke-logged.
They made the area safe and carried out ventilation.
Nobody was injured.
