The owner of a missing 10-month-old Beagle is over the moon after being reunited with his puppy.
Owner Mark Holt contacted the Gazette yesterday to try and find puppy Max who had ran away on Friday even after being confronted by a larger dog.
Max had been seen in Mowbray Drive where he was seen being taken into a black Renault car by an unknown man.
But after receiving a call from a member of the public on Sunday morning who had potentially seen the puppy in Newton Drive at around 10am, Mark was reunited with Max after hours of searching.
33-year-old Mark said: "We were out since the siting this morning.
"A woman heard a dog in distress but could not find where it was coming from.
"She realised it was coming from a bush and found him under it."
It was on London Road that little Max was found.
Mark added that he is beyond thankful to The Gazette for its appeal and members of the public who helped locate the small pup.
"We're taking him to a vets now to get checked out", he added.
