Regional honour for Fylde builder

Simon Whittaker, Jones Homes' site manager at The Heathers in Staining, has beaten stiff competition from across the region to take the title of Local Authority Building Control Residential Site Manager of the Year for the North West region.

Designed to reward and recognise the outstanding contributions of site managers working on LABC sites across the UK, the LABC Site Manager Awards are presented annually to exceptional site managers for their commitment quality in construction.

More than 3,000 individual site managers eligible to take part across the country.

Simon now goes forward into the national finals which will be held in November at the Westminster Park Plaza Hotel in London.

A site manager with Jones Homes for almost 14 years, Simon has led the construction team at The Heathers since build started on the development more than four years ago.
