£20m offices in award hope

The resort’s £20m new council offices Bickerstaffe House is one of just 47 projects on the shortlist for recognition at the prestigious World Architecture Festival (WAF) 2015 Awards.

Winners will be announced in November at a ceremony being held in Singapore.

The building, developed by Muse as part of the £220m Talbot Gateway regeneration scheme, is competing in the ‘office – completed buildings’ category.

Designed by AHR, one of Europe’s longest standing architecture and building consultancy practices, the building has already received a number of accolades, including Best Corporate Workplace in the BCO Awards Northern Region and Energy Efficient Building Project of the Year at the 2014 Energy Awards.
