Power cuts in Lancashire homes

Around 500 homes were without electricity today after a power cut.

The Clitheroe, Croston and Leyland areas were affected on Saturday morning.

Electricity North West said earlier the Croston and Leyland areas should be restored at 1pm, and the BB7 area by 4pm.

Other problems were also reported this afternoon in the PR4, PR3 and Inskip areas.

Electricity North West tweeted this afternoon that it was aware of the new issues

“Engineers are currently en-route to investigate and resolve the issue. Sorry for any inconvenience and thank you for your patience as we investigate.”
