Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) to closing two branches in his constituency.

“I recognise more people are using internet banking, but that does not mean vulnerable individuals and business customers should suffer.

“There is still a place for banks on our high street.

“Among the ideas put forward on Facebook was the creation of community banking hubs, where a number of different companies might maintain a presence under one roof.

Bispham RBS is due to close on November 5, and the Cleveleys branch is due to close on August 6.
