Anchorsholme Coun Paul Galley said: "After what everyone has been through over the last couple of years we want the entire community to come together and celebrate all that is good in the world and what better way than a big Jubilee Party.

"The line up we have gives something for everyone, it will be a truly special event and best of all, everyone is invited regardless of where you live or are from. This is a Fylde Coast event."

Although the park has been in use for some time following a £100m investment in infrastructure by United Utilities, there will also be an official re-opening ceremony at 2pm on Saturday June 4.

Coun Galley added: “The Jubilee Party will also include the official re-opening of Anchorsholme Park with a special guest scheduled to officially open the park on Saturday June 4 at 2pm.”
