“Please take a close look at his face, as he may have changed his clothing again.”
Lancashire Police have released updated footage of missing man Connor Askins as their search for him intensifies.
Connor, 23, was reported missing on Friday after last being seen in Blackpool around lunchtime on Friday August 28 before he was seen on Fleetwood Road in Greenhalgh later that day.
The new CCTV footage shows the current last sighting of him outside the Italian Orchard in Preston on Sunday August 30, 11.50am.
Police are urging people to take a close look at his face as they believe he may have changed his clothes.
A police spokesperson said: “Connor was initially last seen wearing a hospital gown, but we believe he has obtained a number of items over the last few days, including the clothing he is wearing in this footage – grey joggers, a grey or blue shirt, a black jacket and black shoes.
“We have included a picture of Connor at the end of this footage – please take a close look at his face, as he may have changed his clothing again.
Connor is described as 5ft 6in with dark hair and blue eyes and police believe he may have links to Penrith and Hackney, London.
“Enquiries to locate Connor and make sure he is safe are ongoing.
“We believe he is used to sleeping outside and may be sheltering using outbuildings or a tent.
