Police have released CCTV images as part of an investigation into a reported robbery in Blackpool.

Officers were called at around 5am on March 19 after the ambulance service reported a man had suffered a head injury on Queen Street.

The victim, a man in his 30s, was taken to hospital for treatment and has since been discharged.

It was later reported that the man had been assaulted and had property stolen from him.

Lancashire Police said enquiries are ongoing and have now issued footage of two men they would like to speak to as part of their investigation.

A spokesman said: “We appreciate the footage is not of the highest quality, but if you recognise them, we ask that you get in touch.”

Anyone with information is asked to call 101 quoting log 0183 of March 19.
