Police in burglary arrests

The incident happened around 2.15pm today in Ribby Road, Wrea Green.

A resident in the village reported a suspicious car in the area to police.

When officers went to investigate, they discovered a home had been broken into.

One man was arrested immediately, but two managed to escape and were pursued by officers to the A59, off Junction 31, near Preston, where they were captured by police.
