Police boss to visit resort for crime talk

Lancashire’s Police and Crime Commissioner is encouraging residents to to talk about policing issues across the county.

Clive Grunshaw starts a series of “let’s talk policing” events with a roadshow in Blackpool’s Houndshill Shopping Centre tomorrow between 11.30am and 2pm.

Clive said: “Policing is everyone’s business and I want people to feel confident that they can come and talk to me about their views and issues and I will listen and respond.

“I first drew up my police and crime plan six months after I was elected to the role and have regularly asked residents their views to ensure it remains fit for purpose.”

The Commissioner is keen to hear from as many people as possible who live and work in Lancashire, with further events planned across the rest of July, August and September.
