The victim reported he had been attacked and robbed by two men in an alleyway having met them both in a nearby bar.

The pair took £300 and the victim’s mobile phone before making off from the scene.

Police say they are keen to identify the man, pictured, in connection with their investigation.

Det Con Hannah Ogilvie, of Blackpool CID, said: “The victim has been befriended by the suspect and one other male.

“They have lead the victim into an alleyway where they have then proceeded to punch him to the floor before stealing items from him.

“The men have then ran off leaving the victim injured and having to run to find help.
