Pleasure Beach business was played for laughs

The attraction played host to the Lancashire Entrepreneur’s Lunch which was held in the Paradise Room.

Host Phil Walker was joined by award-winning comedians Milo McCabe, Nina Gilligan, Eddy Brimson and Vince Atta.

Blackpool Pleasure Beach has hosted the Lancashire Entrepreneurs Lunch for more than a decade and it has become one of the most popular networking events in the calendar. It is an annual opportunity to meet new contacts and catch up with the present ones.

The meal included cheese and leek tart, followed by oven baked halibut served with prawns in a white wine sauce.

The main course was Goosnargh chicken breast filled with wild mushrooms and wrapped in prosciutto ham.

Dessert was pear frangipane tart followed by a Lancashire cheese board.

A Spokesman from Blackpool Pleasure Beach said it was an important annual event which allowed businesses to get together to make new contacts and let their hair down a little.

He said: “Now in it’s 15th year, The Lancashire Entrepreneurs Comedy Lunch was once again a huge success.

“More than 200 people attended for a delicious six course meal, some hilarious comedy and, of course, some all important networking.”
