Mark Presley, 49, of Edmonton Place, Bispham, was convicted in January of attempting to groom children after a sting on North Pier.

He was ordered to sign the Sex Offender’s Register for five years and a five-year Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO) was imposed.

Police have now confirmed Presley was arrested again on Friday after he was again challenged at his front door by members of the anti-paedophile movement.

A Lancashire Police spokesman said: “Police were called around 8.45pm on Friday following a report of child grooming.

“Officers attended an address in Edmonton Place, Blackpool and arrested a 49-year-old man.

“Mark Presley was charged with breaching a sexual harm prevention order and remanded to appear at Preston Magistrates’ Court.”

The SHPO restricts access to young girls and to the internet.
