Between Monday, October 7 and Sunday, October 15, a whole host of events and show are taking place across the county.

As part of our weekly entertainment guide, below we have highlighted five events from different areas of Lancashire - with a sneaky nod to Wigan of course.

Central Lancashire

First up in Central Lancashire, the nation's favourite psychic, Psychic Sally is back on tour and she’s coming to the Guild Hall in Preston on Saturday, October 26.

Sally’s new show will have you on the edge of your seat, as she continues to bring mediumship into the 21st Century.

Whether you know her from her hit TV series, through watching her on Celebrity Big Brother or reading one of her best-selling books, there is nothing quite like seeing Psychic Sally live on stage.

Starting at 7:30pm, tickets are still available and cost £32.

Fylde Coast

Over on the Fylde Coast, Lowther Gardens in Lytham is hosting Pumpkin in the Park on Saturday, October 26 and Sunday October 27.

Running between 11:00am and 5:00pm each day, the event is free to enter. Expect a weekend of halloween fun that is perfect for all the family.

The variety of entertainment at the event  includes a pumpkin patch, halloween games, halloween crafts and  food and drink vendors - which you have to pay for - and then their free activities include a treasure trail, ghost stories, a dance workshop and a make a monster workshop.

Lancaster

Up in Lancaster, Explore Week, a new event for Light Up Lancaster 2024, starts on Monday, October 21 and ends next Monday, October 28.

Expect a week of free activities and family friendly engagement as artists, creative technologists, arts companies, researchers and academics from Lancaster University reveal fascinating insights g about light, art and science.

Examples of hands-on activities on offer include sending a letter to space, experimenting with science and gadgets and creating a Planet Promises Wall, which will be lit up in Market Square during the festival.

East Lancashire

Over in East Lancashire, Burnley Market Hall is holding a week of free Halloween inspired crafts events next week.

Starting on Monday, October 21 and ending on Friday, October, the craft events run between 11-3 each day and each craft event has a different theme.

Monday’s theme is ‘Wand Making’, Tuesday’s is ‘Quills and Spells’, Wednesday’s is ‘Dragon eggs’, Thursday’s is ‘Owl wings’ and Friday’s theme is ‘Potion Making’ so un-leash your inner spooktacular and get crafting.

Wigan

Finally, just outside of Lancashire, The Grand Arcade Shopping Centre in Wigan invites you to come join them on Saturday, October 26 for the Halloween event of the year — Grand Arcade's Spooky Movie Spectacular!

Running between 11am and 3pm, attendees will get to meet some of our favourite characters such as, the Sanderson Sisters, The Addams Family, Jack Skellington, Hagrid, Voldemort, and Maleficent, and enjoy singalong shows featuring all your Halloween favourites.

The event is free, just turn up.
