Wyre residents' car parking permits will change from April

Wyre council will introduce new a residents' parking scheme from April 1 2020.

Permits will cost £30 from April 1, and will be valid for two years.

The new permit will allow residents to park for up to three hours on long stay car parks, whereas currently the limit is two hours.

Permits purchased between April 1 2018 and March 31 2020 will still be valid for the first two years of the scheme.

But if you bought a permit before 1 April 2018, you will need to renew it to keep using it.

The designated car parks for the residents' parking permit are:

> Derby Road East, Cleveleys

> Derby Road West, Cleveleys

> Jubilee Gardens, Cleveleys

> Custom House Lane, Fleetwood

> Albert Street, Fleetwood

> High Street, Garstang

> Hardhorn Road, Poulton

Permits can only be used once per day, and residents can not move from car park to car park during the same day.

To apply for a new permit, visit the Wyre council offices at the Civic Centre on Breck Road, Poulton.
