The UK Census 2011 recorded 25,939 people living in Fleetwood.
The oldest building in the town today is Fleetwood Museum. Built in 1836, it was once the custom house, and then the Town Hall.
There are still a number of properties in Fleetwood which date back to the 19th century, and the North Euston Hotel was built in 1841.
But what is it about Fleetwood that makes it so special to the people who live here?

1. Fleetwood Memorial Park
Catriona Bailey said she loved Fleetwood's Memorial Park, which was named in 1917 as a place to remember the fallen heroes of the First World War.
2. Fleetwood Golf Course
David Waterworth said one of his favourite things about Fleetwood was the golf course, which was designed in 1932 by James Steer.

Gemma said her favourite thing to come from Fleetwood was the arts events, such as SpareParts - which brings entertainment inspired by transport, travel and motion.
