This is how Blackpool, Fylde and Wyre has marked the 75th anniversary of VE Day

We may be in the midst of the greatest national crisis since the one that ended on VE Day - 75 years ago today - but that hasn't stopped us marking the occasion.

From poignant services to colourful decorations and socially distanced street parties, the people of the Fylde coast have been ensuring that the sacrifices made by our war heroes will not be forgotten. Here are some of the events going on today.
