Each year the event, which is free to attend, brings together the community to support gender equality and highlights inspirational work from across the Fylde Coast. It will be filled with businesses, organisations and demonstration tables and there will be a children’s play area. Profits will go to Fylde Coast Women’s Aid. There will be entertainment from Anne Nolan, local X Factor star Chloe Rose Moyles, Skool of Street, Zumba and more.

Anne Nolan said: “I’m thrilled and honoured once again to be asked to participate in International Women’s Day. It’s heartwarming to see in our local community events like this that bring together and support gender equality and help to highlight opportunities and work throughout our region.”

Deborah Terras, of UR Potential, said: “International Women’s Day is an opportunity for the Fylde Coast Community to come together and talk about real issues which impact on our lives.

“The event is for everyone, supporting local people to share their stories, supporting communities to act in a gender inclusive way. We hope everyone supports us in making the Fylde Coast a community which supports gender equality.”
