Residents urged to stay away from Buchanan Street as firefighters tackle blaze
Residents have been urged to steer clear of Buchanan Street in Blackpool as firefighters continue tackling a blaze which broke out early this morning.

At 05:09 on this morning (August 10), three fire engines from Blackpool, South Shore and Bispham, together with an aerial ladder platform from Blackpool, attended a domestic building fire on Buchanan Street, Blackpool.
Firefighters used six breathing apparatus, two hose reels, one positive-pressure ventilation unit, a thermal imaging camera, and the aerial ladder platform to extinguish the fire.
They remain in attendance.
