Preston radio star tipped as contestant in this years' I'm a Celebrity line up

Radio 1 presenter Jordan North is believed to be the final celebrity completing this year’s line up, before it kicks off on November 15.

The radio personality, 30, is rumoured to be joining the cast preparing to set up camp in Gwrych Castle in Wales.

The show will be Jordan’s first stint in the world of reality TV, which would see him participate in a range of trials voted by the public.

He is tipped to be starring alongside rumoured names such as presenter Vernon Kay and Coronation Street actress Beverley Callard.

Although born in York, Jordan moved to Harle Syke, Burnley and was a student at St James' Lanehead Primary School.

Shortly before enrolling at high school, he moved to Preston and went to Penwortham Priory academy and Preston college.

Before being poached for the prime time gig on Radio 1 in 2018, he worked at the in-house radio station at Blackpool Pleasure Beach, community station Preston FM and Rock FM.

Jordan then left Rock FM in 2016, moving to London to try to crack the London broadcasting scene.

Now, he is rumoured to be the final celebrity completing these years line up, as the show aires its 20th season.
