Nolan sisters who toured with Cannon and Ball mourn loss of 'wonderful' Bobby

Cannon and Ball and The Nolans found fame around the same time in the 1970s.

Anne said: “He and his family are a very big part of our lives. Our children have known him since they were very young. He was a wonderful artist, not just a comedian but a singer, musician and actor but most of all he was a wonderful human being who will be greatly missed and never forgotten by all who loved him.”

Denise said: “I toured with Cannon and Ball just before they became huge and we knew then they had something very special. Eventually, they became part of our extended family, we loved him. Extremely talented, I laughed when he entered the room and a lovely lovely family man. A huge loss. Can’t take it in.”
