Angels Elite Models in Blackpool are on the lookout for the new Miss Blackpool 2024 and have whittled the finalists down to 16.
Sunday marked an exciting milestone on the journey to crowning Miss Blackpool 2024 as Ribby Hall Village played host to a fantastic day of rehearsals, bringing together 16 dazzling finalists aged 18-35.
The event was filled with energy, as the contestants began their preparations for this prestigious competition.
Owner of Angels Elite Models and organiser of Miss Blackpool is Karen Jean Cookson who has modelled since the age of 14 for top bridal designer Ian Stuart and travelled the world doing international shows including shows on the QE2,
She now books models, for catwalk fashion/bridal shows and photographic work.
In a touching twist, this year’s competition celebrates not just the finalists but also its legacy. Among the contestants are daughters of former Miss Blackpool title holders—a heartwarming tribute to the pageant’s 70-year history.
Seeing these mothers, who once graced the stage, now cheering on their daughters is a beautiful testament to how Miss Blackpool continues to inspire and unite generations.
