In pictures: Cleveleys shoppers embrace new face mask law and cover up

Wearing face masks in shops in England became the law on Friday July 24.

There are some medical exemptions to these rules, and children under 11 are not legally required to wear them.

Public Health England has also advised not to put a face covering on a child under the age of three for health and safety reasons.

But over the weekend, shoppers in Cleveleys were out in force in their masks, embracing the new law brought in to help with protecting the public against Covid-19.
