Diane said: “I feel so proud and emotional. I can’t believe I’ve completed the challenge. I feel elated and on a massive high.

“I had done a few workouts at home, but running has definitely improved my health and mental wellbeing, keeping me sane, especially during this latest lockdown.

“When I went out running, I wore my Maggie’s orange vest and this helped spur me on, as I knew I was running for a good cause.”

Diane has so far raised £170 for Maggie’s Cancer Care Centres, which first opened in Edinburgh in 1996. There are now 23 centres in the UK to offer support for anything from treatment

side effects to money worries.
