She said: "We have recently had a CQC inspection and they have rated us as inadequate. This is absolutely devastating to us, as we pride ourselves in delivering the best possible care to our residents. However, we accept the CQC report and immediately have made significant improvements within our home, to rectify the inadequacies.

"We are making it our priority of doing the maximum, to adhere to and meet the improvements and measures and will continue in our professionalism with delivering person-centred care to ensure the safety and well-being of all our residents.

"Moving forward, all staff have the great confidence in working stronger towards regaining a good report again. "
