Blackpool RNLI called out last night to person in the sea
Blackpool’s RNLI volunteers were called out last night after reports of a person struggling in the sea off Gynn Square.

After receiving the call at 7.28pm (on Friday August 5), one of the inshore lifeboats launched and headed to the scene.
However, just as the lifeboat arrived on location, the casualty was helped to safety by Blackpool Police and members of the Coastguards.
A Blackpool RNLI spokesman said: “All safe and well and the lifeboat returned back to the station.”
